Corporate Rowing competition

Sunday the 17th of September at 8.30 am, Mowbray Park was the place for the final competition of the Corporate Rowing Competition that Patrik and the Brand & Slater team had trained for.

Crayfish party

The "Swedes down under" hosted a Crayfish party on Saturday 16th in the Finnish Hall. We where more than 100 swedes or friends of swedes that joined in on the singing at the crayfish party.

Prizes was awarded to the best crayfish party hat. Maud in the middle won!

The 100 kgs of wonderful crayfish came from a farmer up the sunshine coast, cooked the Swedish way with "krondill" and salt.

River Fire festival

On the 2nd of September Brisbane hosts its largest firework of the year.
It goes on for 30 minutes just outside our window. So we invited a bunch of friend to enjoy the show.
The boats crowded up in the allowed section of the river and the show started with a couple of fighter airoplanes doing loops and figure flying.

The fireworks where spectacular, and the photos doesn't really do it justice.....
