Lamington National Park
The Lamington National Park, 2h south of Brisbane is a World Heritage-listed park. We went to the Binna Burra section of the park. It has lush rainforests, ancient trees, spectacular views and extensive walking tracks.
We stayed at Binna Burra Mountain Lodge.
Here's Patrik in front of the Cabins on Binna Burra mountain top where we stayed.
Sparkling rosé in the sun.
New cork is difficult to get hold of in Australia. Jacobs Creek has resorted to using a combination of new & and recycled cork.
We took a walk along the Gwongooroolb track.
The rainforest is very very tall. Here's Patrik on the Gwongooroolb track.
The track finishes by the Gwongooroolb Pool.
The sunset from Binna Burra.
Jakaranda trees in full bloom.
It was a fantastic weekend!
